This Privacy Policy explains how the Igrane Tourist Board, as the operator of the Makarska Riviera website (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”), collects, uses and protects the personal data of Website visitors on behalf of the Makarska Riviera cluster of tourist boards, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Act on the Implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation. The Makarska Riviera Cluster is not a legal entity but an informal association of tourist boards. All legal obligations, including those relating to data processing, are assumed by the Igrane Tourist Board. The Website is jointly managed by the Igrane Tourist Board, as the project holder, and the Tourist Board of the Municipality of Podgora, as the coordinator and content editor.

2. Personal Data We Collect

We collect the following data:

Website usage data – IP address, browser type, pages visited and time spent on the Website – collected through analytics tools. Detailed information about cookies and the analytics and marketing tools used is available in the Cookie Policy.

We do not collect any data that could directly identify a user, such as their first name, surname, email address, telephone number, physical address or any other personal identifier. IP addresses are processed in anonymised form through analytics tools.

3. Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing
Purpose: Website traffic analysis for the purpose of improving content.
Legal basis: Strictly necessary cookies are processed on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

4. How Long We Retain Personal Data
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Analytics data is retained for a maximum period of 14 months, in accordance with the Google Analytics settings.

5. Who We Share Personal Data With
Personal data is neither sold nor disclosed to third parties for marketing purposes. Personal data may be shared with:
- the Website hosting provider;
- the analytics service provider, such as Google Analytics.
All external service providers are contractually required to protect the confidentiality and security of personal data.

6. Your Rights
As a data subject, you have the right to:
- request access to your personal data;
- request the rectification of inaccurate personal data;
- request the erasure of your personal data (the “right to be forgotten”);
- object to the processing of your personal data;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal;
- lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), Selska cesta 136, Zagreb, Croatia, at azop@azop.hr.

7. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. We use HTTPS encryption, restrict access to the Website administration area and regularly update the system.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The date of the most recent update is stated at the top of this document.
